+ Wish For Heaven +

This was my first copper plate intaglio printing. It's a LOT easier than physically using an etching tool to scratch into something. Like the intaglio I did before this, I had to scratch into plexiglass. That was hard.

With this, there was just a acid-resistant hardground put onto the copper and I just doodled on it. The exposed copper was etched away in the acid bath and POOF, intaglio plate. It was fun.

The title and idea for this piece comes from the Phantasmagoria song "Gensoukyoku ~ eternal silence" which I love to death. It's an awesome song, and I do suggest listening to it.
