Artist's Comments
Initially, this manipulation was inspired by the song "Sarah" by the French band Kyo. As I got further and further into the piece, it started to look less and less like the images I had of the song in my head, but I still love it.
The key lyrics that made me create this piece are:
"Sarah, elle est belle, mais seulement quand elle pleure..." ("Sarah, she is beautiful, but only when she cries...") and "Sarah, reine des femmes, devant elle je m'incline..." ("Sarah, queen of women, I bow to her...")
Don't quote me in the English parts, I only took two years of French, lol.
GO LISTEN TO THE SONG, ITS AWESOME even if you don't understand French.
Anyway. Its been YEARS (literally) since I've done a photo manip, but I guess I had to start back up... since my digital imaging class is pretty much exclusivly photo maipulation, hahaha. Oh wells! At least I'm better at it now than I used to be!

I almost wish I could make it as a print here on DA, but a lot of the stock photographers don't like their stuff in the prints...
I'm gonna have to print it out for my digital imaging class, so maybe I'll just do it on nice glossy paper, mat it, and hang it on my wall.
